Like the song by McFadden & Whitehead Ain't No Stoppin' Us Now, you should clearly define a stopping protocol with the other members of the carpool. If you all agree to stop for coffee or breakfast before going into the office that is great, but Save your trips to the grocery store for the weekend and pick-up your dry cleaning on your lunch break.
